About Mallory Kujanek Therapy
I appreciate that you are taking the time to support your mental health. Finding the right therapist for you may involve "feeling out" different people's styles.
I decided to become a therapist because I wanted to spend the majority of my time on earth building relationships and exploring the human psyche. Being a therapist is similar to being a guide, helper, and friend, yet with its own unique purpose and structure.
I love that therapy can be thoughtful and intentional as well as spontaneous and creative. I derive great fulfillment from facilitating a meaningful therapeutic experience.

My Approach
My technique is rooted in the psychodynamic approach, also known as Jungian or depth psychology, from my education at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I also incorporate aspects of humanistic-existential theory, intersectional feminist theory, mindfulness, eco-therapy, and somatic psychology. Life is full of difficult moments for which there is no blueprint on how to cope. However, I believe there are always ways to maximize compassion for the self and connection with others.
I enjoy serving a culturally diverse client base and am LGBTQIA+ friendly.
Some common challenges I work with are:
-
anxiety
-
depression
-
childhood trauma
-
women's issues
-
relational issues
-
life transitions
-
identity stress
-
burn out
-
autism
